This is made from hot rolled mild steel and is meant to rust overtime. The rusting process will take at least 6-8 months to fully develop. Note: mild steel will last for years outside, but the pan may start to breakdown over time 8-10 years. If you want this in a steel that will last forever, we'll have to make it out of Corten steel. Please reach out for a quote on this being made out of Corten.
